Nathan Tidd, CFA®, Founder, Windfactor, Inc.
Nathan Tidd is the founder of Windfactor, Inc, an independent provider of quantitative equity analysis tools. Prior to Windfactor, Nathan served on the operating committee of MSCI Inc., where he headed the Portfolio Analytics division, and as an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley. He has held leadership positions at Barra International, equity fund manager Horizon Management Ltd, and software house Corel Inc., where he began his career as an engineer. Nathan lectures regularly at Rutgers Business School, sits on Antwerp Management School’s annual cross-cultural business panel, and writes a monthly investment column for Citywire USA. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, an undergraduate degree in Finance from Brigham Young University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Milind Sharma, CEO, Quantz Machine Intelligence Technologies
Milind Sharma is CEO of QuantZ Machine Intelligence Technologies (QMIT), a signal provider which specializes in ML enhanced smart betas. His 23 years of market experience include running hedge funds (QuantZ Capital), mutual funds (~$30 Billion at MLIM) as well as prop desks (Deutsche Bank & RBC Global Arbitrage). He was also a co-founder of Risk/ Quant Strategies at Merrill Lynch IM after a similar role at Ernst & Young. Sharma has an MS in Computational Finance and an MS in Applied Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon where he was also in the PhD program in Logic (AI). Other education includes Wharton, Vassar, and Oxford. He has published extensively on hedge funds and is a frequent speaker at conferences.
